KNOTS

You’re only as strong as the weakest link in your tackle.

Blood Knot

A tried and true fishing knot used for joining two lines of similar diameter together.

Tap on the + icon at the right of each step to expand.

Step One

Overlap the two ends of line to be joined. Twist one around the other five to seven times. Thread the tag end back between the two lines, where they intersect.

Step Two

Repeat with the other end of line, wrapping in the opposite direction, with the same number of turns. Your tag ends should be poking out opposite side of your main lines.

Step Three

Lubricate the twists and gently pull the main lines in opposite directions. Your turns should wrap and gather neatly together.

Step Four

Clip tag ends close to your knot.
