TACKLE TWEAK — ADD A TAIL TO YOUR BLADE
Subtlety is often a key to fishing success and sometimes subtle tweaks can turn the tide on a shut-down bite. Here’s a nifty trick for adding a little bit more spice for fish who may have “seen it all before”, without losing your finesse.

YOU WILL NEED:
- split ring pliers
- scissors
- metal vibe
- Squidgy Wriggler (or similar)
- Gamagatsu single lure hook (or similar).
Step One
Replace rear treble or double with the single lure hook, ensuring that it’s in a hook up position.
Step Two
Trim down your plastic tail to desired lengthand shape.
Step Three
Thread your tail onto your single lure hook, as you would on a jig head (add a drop of Supa Glue if needed).
Step Four
Use front tow point to make this rig runmore horizontal for shallower presentations, or the back tow point to make this rig run more vertical for deeper presentations.
